Michael Baltazar holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Management with a focus on Civil Engineering from the University of the Pacific. His professional journey has been deeply rooted in the field of Land Surveying. Prior to his tenure at dk Engineering, he honed his skills at the Survey Department of Central Contra Costa Sanitary District, where he specialized in construction staking and traverse surveys for wastewater collection systems.
Currently serving as a Survey Technician II at dk Engineering, Michael’s responsibilities encompass a broad spectrum of surveying tasks. He is actively engaged in conducting topographic, boundary, and ALTA surveys, as well as overseeing improvement plans and 3D processing of drone data across diverse projects including solar farms, wind farms, battery storage facilities, residential developments, and municipal infrastructure enhancements. Additionally, he contributes to the preparation of parcel maps and record of surveys for various public agencies.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Michael finds joy in pursuits such as archery, reading, cooking, playing mahjong, and immersing himself in various concerts and comic conventions.
