Macey is a proud graduate of UC Santa Barbara, holding a BS in Psychological and Brain Sciences. Joining the dk Engineering team as our Front Desk Coordinator, she infuses our office with her warm, welcoming, and positive demeanor. Macey excels at multitasking with her day-to-day general responsibilities and providing support to both our team and office guests alike. Her commitment to aiding her colleagues spans from crafting billing packages to assisting the project managers with their time sensitive submittals and contracts to coordinating lunch and learn events for the office. Macey’s dedication extends to ensuring our clients receive prompt and attentive service, whether by shipping out plans or assisting them with their inquiries through the phone or email. She seamlessly blends her customer service expertise from both the behavioral health and restaurant industries, ensuring every interaction leaves a lasting impression of professionalism and care.

Beyond the office walls, Macey finds joy in listening to live music at concerts, cherishing quality moments with her loved ones, and exploring the diverse landscape of the Bay Area’s restaurant scene.

Working at dk feels like having a second family. I joined dk 17 years ago, and many of my colleagues have been here as long or longer. It’s truly a supportive and nurturing environment personally and professionally. That is why all of our company-sponsored events are so much fun--like getting together for birthday celebrations, baseball games, pinball arcades and the annual holiday party. At dk we have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, which keeps my job interesting. On any day, I work on a subdivision, senior housing, or one of our wind and solar farm projects. Our renewable energy projects are especially fulfilling knowing that we are helping the environment.

Having worked for dk years for 19 years, one of the greatest benefits that I never expected is its family atmosphere. Equally important to me is the quality of the work and experiences within the company. I have been lucky to be involved on some very large and very remote job sites, which can be challenging and rewarding when we overcome logistical issues. When I tell people that I fly a drone as part of my job, folks are often very interested, especially young kids. It’s very cool to know we are part of a cutting-edge team.
