The Hylands project is a single-family residential project on a 12-acre site in Lafayette, California. The site is generally characterized by open, grass-covered slopes, with scattered trees. The development plan shows a residential development including 15 lots, associated access roadways, and utility infrastructure. Additional improvements will include retaining walls and a detention system in the southern portion. The site plan integrates a sensitive, land-based approach including use of split pad housing types to minimize grading, and drought-tolerant landscaping that will establish a lasting and beautiful residential setting.
