Standard Pacific Homes dedicated land to the City of Antioch to provide a city park and baseball field to the local residents. The over 10-acre park site resides on the south side of Wild Horse Road with controlled access to the neighboring development (Monterra) across Wild Horse Road and a meandering trail to Menona Drive. The park includes informal ball fields for soccer and baseball, a tot lot, and basketball court. Numerous picnic table areas are incorporated around the site with access from the meandering sidewalk along Wild Horse Road and both parking lots by a series of pathways and trails.
dk Engineering played an integral part in designing the park site. dk Engineering was the civil consultant for the project that included the surveying, preparation of the mass grading design, parking lot design, drainage and improvement design, and provided construction staking and construction support.
