Agora at 1500 Newell Avenue is a mixed-use project that combines retail, condominiums or apartments, and parking within the project boundary bordered by Newell Avenue and South Main Street in the City of Walnut Creek. This project extends the shopping experience of the Broadway Plaza shopping center in downtown Walnut Creek. Special considerations were being taken into account to help provide a pedestrian friendly shopping experience by incorporating a plaza adjacent to Las Trampas Creek.
dk Engineering was an integral part of the project team from the start. dk provided surveying services including topographic and boundary surveys. dk also provided planning and engineering services with the preparation of the design development plans for entitlements, construction documents, hydrologic & hydraulic report, stormwater control reports, and design for site improvements.
