Both Adelanto I and II are located in San Bernardino County, within the City of Adelanto. Both phases began commercial operation in 2015 and consist of photovoltaic solar arrays.
Adelanto I has a generating capacity of 20 megawatts and Adelanto II has a generating capacity of 7 megawatts.
The Adelanto solar projects deliver a number of benefits to the City of Adelanto, which has a higher than average unemployment rate. The solar energy center provides local jobs and clean, reliable electricity.
