The proposed mixed-use project is located at 2401 Broadway in Oakland. The general development in the vicinity consists of retail and commercial structures. The site is currently occupied by commercial space for auto dealerships, parking lots, and mixed-use businesses.
2401 Broadway will include construction of a 7-story hotel and multi-family residential project with retail on the ground floor. A below-grade pit parking system up to 10 feet in depth is planned for a portion of the site; the pits will accommodate parking stackers. Construction of underground utilities, retaining walls, flatwork, and landscaping will also be part of the proposed development.
