Fixed-wing drones offer numerous benefits, including:
• Covering longer distances
• Flying at higher altitudes
• Mapping much larger areas
• Providing significantly longer flight times
These capabilities greatly enhance corridor mapping and reduce the time pilots need to spend on-site.
Dan says, “With the addition of a 3rd Quantum PRO VTOL and next generation 61 megapixel camera, we should be able to map upwards of a thousand acres an hour with results better than 2 cm (0.06′) on most projects.”
