Juan joined dk Engineering in 2015 and is responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of the office building and grounds. His meticulous oversight ensures that all systems operate smoothly and comply with health, safety, and regulatory standards. Juan conducts regular inspections to promptly address any issues that arise, demonstrating his proactive approach to facility management.

In his role, Juan efficiently handles tenant requests, promptly troubleshooting and repairing any malfunctions. He collaborates with external vendors, such as janitorial and landscaping companies, to maintain cleanliness and aesthetics. Additionally, Juan coordinates with professionals in various fields, including plumbing, HVAC, and painting, to execute repairs and improvements as needed.

With a background as a mechanic engineer at Bally’s Fitness and experience in agriculture and landscaping, Juan brings a wealth of technical expertise to his role. His dedication to continuous learning is evident through his pursuit of HVAC and gardening courses, reflecting his commitment to professional development.

Juan’s problem-solving abilities and innovative mindset enable him to devise creative solutions to complex challenges. Beyond the office, he enjoys working on cars and cherishes quality time with his family, including outings to the park with his granddaughter. Having worked for dk years for 19 years, one of the greatest benefits that I never expected is its family atmosphere. Equally important to me is the quality of the work and experiences within the company. I have been lucky to be involved on some very large and very remote job sites, which can be challenging and rewarding when we overcome logistical issues. When I tell people that I fly a drone as part of my job, folks are often very interested, especially young kids. It’s very cool to know we are part of a cutting-edge team.
